Ballet Bars

(barres) - Free Standing used with Gym Mirrors

Barres that are free-standing are available in the standard lengths of 5' or 8' with hand sanded Poplar or Oak Rails. Two hand wheels make height adjustment of the bar easy for all ages. Comes with legs that rotate which allows the bar to fold flat for easy storage against a wall.

Barres - Double Wall Mounted

These stationary wall-mounted  products are constructed of a 11' x 1-1/2 hand sanded Poplar or Oak rails. Three chrome plated mounting brackets are used to easily attach the bar to the wall. The bottom bar extends 4" while the top bar extends 6" from the wall. They are spaced 8" apart.

Barres - Floor Mounted

Adjustable products that can be mounted in front of windows, mirrors or other obstacles. Similar to the Free Standing versions, but this bar attaches permanently to the floor. You can screw it directly to the floor or attach with anchors in concrete and then screw to the floor. You have the choice to set it at a permanent heights or have it adjustable.

A complete range of integrated products are available in a variety of profiled hardwoods fixed with purpose made stainless steel brackets and as an alternative powder coated steel barres are available.

Free standing stretch are available in a choice of powder coated or stainless steel posts with polished. This innovative multi-purpose apparatus is perfect for daycare and elementary physical education classes. Bars are made from sturdy fir and extend 5" out from wall. Wall mounted brackets are 1.63" wide and 29 7/8" in length, made from steel with a Uni-Strut P2000 channel adjustable quick lock mechanism for easy height adjusting. Available in lengths of 5', 8', and 14'.

Single Wall Mounted - These stationary or adjustable wall-mounted versions are constructed with a 11' x 1-1/2" rail with a hand sanded poplar or oak Rail. The bar has been cut at the center to allow for UPS shipment and attaches to the wall through the use of three plated mounting brackets. All can be used in conjunction with gym mirrors and dance mirrors. Marketed as Image "18" mirrors, our product, complete with its high impact cushion, is the most cost effective safety mirror system available in the UK today.

 Timber trims are finished in Hardwood such as Ash, Beech, Oak or any other timber profiled to your requirement. Pre-finished with Sekens varnish. (See Detail B in Specifications) Aluminium 'J' carriers (Detail A in Specifications) are exclusively extruded for Glass Installations Ltd and are available as standard in a bright polished finish. Bronze, Brass, Gold, Pewter or any powder coated "RAL " powder coated colour can be produced.

Although Glass Installations Ltd was formed in 1982 as a traditional glass and glazing company, the Image Mirrors system was created in the late 90's, as a result of the spectacular growth of the health and fitness industry.
